Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the IELTS Compass platform (the “Service”), operated by IELTS Compass. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

IELTS Compass provides a structured 30-day IELTS study plan with 141 pre-planned tasks across Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, and Vocabulary. The Service includes daily task tracking, mock exams, progress reports, streaks, achievements, a mistake log, and a vocabulary store.

The core 30-day plan is free. Optional paid plans add premium features and services and are described on our pricing page.

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate information during registration.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• Attempting to access another user’s account or data.
• Interfering with the Service’s operation, security, or infrastructure.
• Using automated tools to scrape, copy, or redistribute content.
• Uploading unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service without our permission.

Paid plans are offered as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Current paid plans include the Full Plan ($29) and the Tutor Plan ($79), each a single payment for lifetime access to the purchased features. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and may change for future purchases; changes never affect purchases already made.

Payment is processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us at support@ieltscompass.com within 7 days of your purchase to request a full refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

The Service, including its software, design, content, and the 30-day study plan, is owned by IELTS Compass or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own study. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law.

IELTS Compass is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University of Cambridge, the British Council, IDP Education, or the official IELTS test owners. “IELTS” is a trademark of its respective owners and is used here only to describe the exam our study plan prepares you for.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific band-score goals or that results will match any particular outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IELTS Compass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IELTS Compassoperates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
